New York State Professional Development Standards
The attached NYS Professional Development Standards were approved by the Board of Regents in February 2009. Guidance and tools to assist all professional development providers in implementing these standards is being developed in collaboration with our office; and will include an invitation for constituency contributions of the tools and resources you may develop locally. Meanwhile please feel free to disseminate widely with your constituencies and stakeholders, and begin to use them as you plan, implement and evaluate professional development in your schools, districts, institutions and organizations.
